Ambien.
Ambien (zolpidem) is a prescription drug that has been specially designed for the needs of people with sleep problems (those suffering from insomnia). It is taken for a short period only and is not supposed to be combined with such medications as other sleeping pills, colds or allergies meds, seizure medications, antidepressants, sedatives, mental illness drugs, medications for anxiety, or tranquilizers. Ambien has been reported to cause an addiction, and your treatment may result in getting certain withdrawal symptoms if you stop. The following withdrawal symptoms are common if you have been taking Ambien to help you sleep for several days in a row: nausea, stomach pain, anxiety, vomiting, muscle cramps, panic, seizure, sweating, and behavior changes. They will go away after several days. If you are taking Ambien but do not notice an improvement, or the problem gets worse, talk to your doctor about this situation to see what needs to be changed. Do not give your Ambien to any other people that have not been prescribed that kind of treatment and make sure you dispose of any Ambien that has expired. Using expired medications can be very dangerous.
